I'm a very rare smoker (maybe about one individual cigarette per month) and I have eye and mouth is my drawer right now! Seriously one of these packs is 2 years old, it looks like I've put it through a tumble drier. How people come to smoke a pack a day, hell more than one a day, I just don't understand. *ahh yes the slap, an Australian show where the meme is better than the show **wait one of our high court judges voted FOR tobacco?? Give me that cunts name. and an address if you have it, but a name for now.

My personal opinion on this matter is people choose to smoke they never choose to stop even if companies make tobacco more addicting it's not going to change the fact that you chose the action

I feel like this is far to discriminatory towards the tobacco companies, sure smoking kills and everybody knows that but putting gross pictures on cigarette packaging is a bit much.
Dan the Dude (6 days ago)
Did Malboro purposely use a German label in that ad so that people wouldn’t see “smoking can kill you” in the commercial?

No one is being forced to smoke. Are we now going to get rid of every last vestige of natural selection? We might as well close all of the donut shops while we're at it.

I smoke, but I do not like how Tobacco Companies do shit. They'll turn a blind eye to the effects of cigarettes, even when their own consumers know it's bad for them. I know I'm a hypocrite, but honestly when is there not a little hypocrisy in this world.
Actually, I did notice it wasn't Uruguay marked on the map and was going to comment on that, but was pleasantly surprised to see it was part of a joke. 😊

Could the #jeffwecan movement still be mobilised in Indonesia ? I don't want another 2-years old smoker from my country made international headlines again.

Packaging and advertisers should without reservation have no other option but full honest labelling on all packaging and advertising; therefor all cigarette packaging should be following suit behind the Australian style, which Canada has also. Perfect image examples of what you could look like or suffer from should you choose to smoke those products.

Could these countries have just retaliated by banning cigarette sales entirely? Man, that'd be awesome. "Um, your incessant HONESTY is compromising our bottom line we're suing you to get rid of it." "We'll do you one better and get rid of your product. Now you lose ALL your sales!"

I don't get it though...here in Europe each package of Marlboro smokes comes with a warning (like 9 out of 10 lung cancer cases are caused by smoking, or smoking might kill etc.) and a disturbing image (think of diseased lung). How come we didn't get sued for that?

*I like how governments will do anything except ban tobacco...* Meanwhile, cannabis, which has killed nobody and is only dangerous in modified versions like skunk... Why the hate against smoking? (Smoker here, not a troll) Since it doesn't matter to me what kind of images are on the packaging, also I'm eligible to smoke I don't get it. Yea sure, it causes health problems, but so does alcohol and seemingly no one wants to put uniform labels and drinking kills messages and cirrhosis pictures on them...

I feel pretty bad for the modern tobacco industry. They are making a product that is bad for you, but so it sugar. So is alcohol. Why are those things celebrated, but tobacco is vilified? Is it because it smells and is more of a social faux pas? I don't know.

The only reason this is a problem is because Big-Brother government doesn't feel comfortable with people making their own choices with their own bodies. These regulations are stupid. Every smoker knows that smoking damages their health, stop trying to make decisions for them. Smoking is an activity that only affects the person doing it, and anytime it inconveniences others is largely due to regulations. People complain about people smoking outside and in parks. Well if bars, pubs, cafes still had smoking areas, that wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem.

One thing he won't mention is that cure against Ebola was found in 2002, and it's based on tobacco. But his beloved industry (big pharma) has suppressed the cure, and didn't give it to victims of Ebola in Africa in the 2014 epidemics. In fact, the medical liars said there exists no cure for Ebola, even though it existed for 12 years. They left 20,000 people to die of a curable disease. Yes, those are the same ones who say: "We need to vaccinate everyone to prevent them from dying from preventable diseases". Obviously liars, because when they had a chance to save people, they didn't. They just wanted to sell vaccines, but since the Ebola cure was a proper cure (not a vaccine) it wasn't profitable enough for their accountants. Vaccines are a lot more profitable than proper cures, because their sales is based on hysteria and lottery model. And as we know, lottery is very profitable, because 99.9999% of people don't get anything in return for their money. It's a way to sell air to people, based on their hope. What could be (but will never happen). Same as vaccines. "Maybe I could contract this disease.... who knows... let's vaccinate just in case, even if there's like 1 in billion chance I'll contract it". LastWeekTonight, how about making another show about vaccines? Name it "Lottery based medicine".

Zift Ylrhavic Resfear (1 month ago)
Yeah i'm not really following the news. Most medias are biased and unreliable and i don't like checking sources enough to spend time on it. I just hear about a few things from comments like these. Anyway, you said there was a cure and i got curious about it. If you don't want to provide any source then i'll just shrug and think you were just another conspiracy theorist.
Zex Konjina (1 month ago)
You don't believe the "story" about the 2 doctors? A "story"? Have you been sleeping in a cave for the last 10 years? You never heard of two American doctors got infected in Africa by Ebola? They got quickly transported to the US where they received the drug and got healthy in a week or so? You didn't hear of that? Then why are you even here, making comments? Go fucking inform yourself. Why do ignorant people feel the need to comment and show how little they know? Did I get paid to inform you? Get your credit card out and pay for my services. Fucking moron.
Zift Ylrhavic Resfear (1 month ago)
Yeah no, i don't believe the story of the 2 doctors. There are studies that have been made, and patients in these study that got that drug still died. For all i know, they just took in a low quantity of bacteria, allowing their body to overcome it alone. So i don't know what your source is, but i don't trust it. Especially since you believe all the money is in the vaccines. Do you know why when you sue for troubles with vaccines, you sue the government and not the company? How did big pharma manage to get away with such a thing? They managed it because vaccines bring almost no profit, so even the few cases of people sueing take away that profit. If not for the above, nobody would make vaccines, as it wouldn't even make money. "And regarding your last sentence "but the side effects are acceptable".... if you're DYING in a few days, you don't care about the fucking effects." What if the death rate increase? You know people survived ebola, right? As long as the drug isn't tested, there is no guarantee that it will help you and not kill you even faster. And as i said earlier, it takes a few months to produce. Where would they even have gotten enough of it to give to 10 000 people?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why the tobacco industry is being attacked and not able to advertise their products on tv but alcohol is. Alcohol kills WAY MORE people both directly and collaterally. Why are they able to advertise? People are killed every year by drunk drivers. They should be getting pummeled with the same laws as tobacco. I will always defend the tobacco industry until alcohol ads are taken down, warnings are placed on the bottles, and the government treats them just as much as a threat to public health as tobacco.

i think PMI wants its product to be seen as nothing more than a good healthy product...because i believe they sued John for Jeff...which i think is BULLSHIT. they are acting like a child who only wants they're own way, and John was the one trying to be the bigger person and compromise even though you could easily tell he didn't want to...John, i have great respect for you, even though you are right that Tobacco companies are monsters, you tried to rise above it, and offer them something you thought would please both, albeit a little obvious, but hey! Isn't that kinda the point? that there is nothing about Tobacco that is good? even SMOKERS agree that they are monsters. but can't quit because it is addictive...and the withdrawal...i don't smoke, but i have heard from smokers, is horrible...is that right smokers?
Kanyaah Jane Sorden (2 months ago)

let me enlighten all of you. The easiest way to resolve this is *placing giant signs in the cities that warns the locals about the danger of smoking* And if the shitheads want to sue you all you need to say is this....its not on the pack...
Simon Dewitt (2 months ago)
It is a little fucked that only cigarette companies have to put all these warnings and gross imagery on their packaging. I don't see diabetes warnings on snickers, I don't see a obesity warning when I walk into McDonalds, or a picture of a person with horrible diarrhea on Taco Bell hot sauce or a picture of a shirtless man beating his wife on a box of Bud Light. My point is, the world is dangerous and lots of things can kill you if done too often. Do we need the gross pictures on TV and cigarette boxes? People who aren't aware that allowing smoke into your lungs is bad aren't the kind of people we need in society.
Simon Dewitt (2 months ago)
Denver Arnold Yes, cigarettes are not "safe" but if used in moderation their harm is often reduced to basically 0. Having a cigarette after a tough day every now and then wont kill you and could actually be a benefit. Health problems caused by stress are real and, as long as its not your only coping method, an occasional cigarette can be a good way to relieve that stress. Now weed is 500% better for stress, but baby steps. We are only a few stairs out of the basement for that. My point is, no one is forcing us to smoke (maybe in the countries John was talking about). Most if not all the people who choose to smoke now are aware of the dangers. Maybe its time to start treating Tobacco like a regular company and not the ultimate evil in the marketplace and perhaps this bullshit overseas will stop or at least lessen.
Simon Dewitt (2 months ago)
Zack Smith So is drinking, so is driving, so are power tools. If used irresponsibly many things are dangerous. But when used responsibily cigarettes are only bad for the user. And since there's tons of products that are bad for you, its kind of unfair to the Tobacco companies to single them out. Which allows one to see why these companies are making sure asshole-ish efforts to make money. Clearly the Tobacco industry isn't blameless, but when you can hardly advertise your product and have to put dead people and diseased organs on your packaging it doesn't inspire the industry to stop being assholes.
Denver Arnold (2 months ago)
The point is all examples are harmless, if not actually beneficial, in moderation. There is no safe amount of cigarette.

How to become bitcoin trader? Exactly like Bitcoin, multiple digital currencies exist in the marketplace. So if you prefer to buy a few other currencies which aren`t available on Indian Exchange than you can utilize Bittrex. All you have to do is locate an exchange that you favor. Cryptocurrency exchanges have a massive potential to modify peoples minds and opinions concerning cryptocurrencies generally speaking and their application in actual life. So even in the event the exchange is attacked, its still true that you have your money. Furthermore, the exchanges prepare each and every industry for Bitcoin expansion. Existing stock exchanges will also compete to be able to fulfill the users configuration requirements. Sooner or later later on, the prices will grow more equal, meeting somewhere in the middleyour profit is equivalent to the quantity of convergence. No matter how far it is from Kijun, it is likely to return and test that level at some point. The amount of bitcoin is perpetually changing. In the US, it is 1000 USD. Whats even better, seek the services of a seasoned lawyer or at least ask for an in depth consultation. So youve read the newspaper about the meteoric growth of crypto currencies including Bitcoin or Ripple. Then coming up with 1000s of exchange rates simply to go out and get groceries is nearly impossible. Many cities around the world provide a bitcoin ATM where you are able to trade cash for bitcoin. The cryptocurrency world isn`t efficient.
