Hi Amanda. Nice video, but old and I hope you see this post and answer. I wont get into all detail here, but the fellow you interviewed said he is not paid. My research has taken me many places, and their is two things I can not find. Anonymity and a truly decentralized cryptocurrency. Monero may be the closest. But in all my research I think the answer is software that is customizable. The reason I say this is I think governments are going to take over all cryptocurrecies. I mean "Money for nothin' and chicks for free." Cryptocurrency is a natural for governemnts who are used to creating money out of thin air with the added ability to track everyone. China and Russia are the first going this way. Gemini exchange in New York is fully compliant with federal regulations.....
I am starting a real trading post, and I want a unique cryptocurrency that is completely anonymous to be used exclusively between me and my trading partners. I believe the developers of Monero can build the kind of software I need and many other people would pay a lot of money for. In all my research no one is developing software to be used by private companies but I think it will happen and I think the market will be huge. You heard it from me first. please help me get in touch with these guys. I will try on my own right now. Enjoyed your vid. Thanks.
Wine is one of the few commodities that can improve with age, but it can also rapidly deteriorate if kept in inadequate conditions. The three factors that have the most direct impact on a wine's condition are light, humidity, and temperature
Can you please tell us if there are any kind of ways to deposit my money to any of those like Poloniex or shapeshift or other like those ones using my banking account only without using credit card or debit card? for example, Paypal, once you have pass the security measure which I guess you already know, you allow to deposit Funds from your banking account, there are some ways to do so? I do not want to use my credit card in any case.....
Another Question , if in case there are no ways to deposit fund directly from your banking account , how we can make sure that, no one can deposit fund using my credit card then there are no ways to track it back the transaction it self ?
Have you considered this? 1. It's never too late to get into in Monero, the best privacy coin out there. 2. There's an upcoming hard fork & Airdrop with MoneroV. You get 10 XMV for each 1 XMR. 3. This will probabaly drive Monero up like crazy in 2018. 4. Hold for long, believe in true privacy!
How about some Robert Johnson intro ? But Korn is gud, too ! Kid Rock should bang out a few good intros, also... lol
I'd like to hear more about Dash, and Monero... I'll even review them further, elsewhere, since I had such a great day here with this decrypt ! The 2% down vote on the poll must be Soggy Bottom Boys fans... Oops ! I like them, too ! How about some Hank III rc
Just gotta say Yah! You hit it out of the park again baby! I liked your promo of BitShares today, excellent, nice work! Concise, well encapsulated and hopefully intriguing to viewers, enough so that they try BitShares or come & chk us out.
Hi Amanda! This is becoming one of my favorite YT channels with every new chapter :) I still keep a few XMR from my mining days, great to see the devs are planning great updates. Are you going to anarchapulco or to other crypto-conference on the next months by any chance?
+Javier Salcedo No, we won't be attending Anarchapulco, unfortunately. But we will attend New Hampshire's Liberty Forum next week. No other conferences currently on the calendar, but we'd be open to it.
Nice Interview. I would really like to see a show about Vanillacoin in the future.
Vanillacoin is not a descendant of Bitcoin. While it shares the same basic network and cryptographic principles it's code is written using a backwards compatible but modern approach using C++11. The vanillacoin developer has over 15 years of experience designing and deploying large scale autonomous peer-to-peer systems.
Only this sort of protocol-level privacy features can allow for a truly fungible crypto currency. I have no way to know if Monero will succeed, but make no mistake, the next giant in the cryptocurrency world will be built on the CryptoNote protocol.
I don't believe anything that anonymous can bring in big businesses and thats what makes a coin take off is when big businesses get involved. Its just going to bring in drug dealers and illegal activity type people. It wont ever take off imo.
So, I totally understand why we need this level of security! Nobody wants others digging into their own "bank accounts". How does it work in comparison to bitcoin? We know that only so many bitcoin will ever exist! With this level of privacy who keeps Monero accountable?
It's interesting that Monero is a from-scratch crypto currency implementation and I wonder how many others are more than just a bitcoin knock-off... btw Autoplay disappeared the poll before I could make a choice. But I still had a good ol' day. ;)
Amanda, it's always a great day to talk about currency competition. ;-)
I had seen you give examples in Windows before. Now I see something else: you are Ubuntu, DuckDuckGo, Firefox and NoScript user. Keep up the good choices !
+The Daily Decrypt experience. :-)
At 2:56 the orange colors you see when you are making a selection is Ubuntu default color scheme, the browser right-click menu is from Firefox, DuckDuckGo is in the right-click menu for searching by selection, so is the NoScript settings submenu.
Just had a look at the http://privacytools.io site.
Had never heard of the Random Agent Spoofer. I can see how it might help a bit. Especially if you already have NoScript enabled, then the browser string is one of the last identifiers left.
That people disable WebRTC kind of makes me sad, they worked so hard to build all those open protocols and code. It's really cool technology and actually has better security by default than most other systems, but I understand. Maybe it's possible to find a better middle ground for how to use it (the default settings). Here is an example of some of the cool things you can do with WebRTC: https://webtorrent.io/
In other words, WebRTC helps us with being a lot less dependant on central servers for webbrowsers Just like cryptocurrencies do. After all, that is how the Internet was designed as a peer2peer system.
How to become bitcoin trader? Exactly like Bitcoin, multiple digital currencies exist in the marketplace. So if you prefer to buy a few other currencies which aren`t available on Indian Exchange than you can utilize Bittrex. All you have to do is locate an exchange that you favor. Cryptocurrency exchanges have a massive potential to modify peoples minds and opinions concerning cryptocurrencies generally speaking and their application in actual life. So even in the event the exchange is attacked, its still true that you have your money. Furthermore, the exchanges prepare each and every industry for Bitcoin expansion. Existing stock exchanges will also compete to be able to fulfill the users configuration requirements. Sooner or later later on, the prices will grow more equal, meeting somewhere in the middleyour profit is equivalent to the quantity of convergence. No matter how far it is from Kijun, it is likely to return and test that level at some point. The amount of bitcoin is perpetually changing. In the US, it is 1000 USD. Whats even better, seek the services of a seasoned lawyer or at least ask for an in depth consultation. So youve read the newspaper about the meteoric growth of crypto currencies including Bitcoin or Ripple. Then coming up with 1000s of exchange rates simply to go out and get groceries is nearly impossible. Many cities around the world provide a bitcoin ATM where you are able to trade cash for bitcoin. The cryptocurrency world isn`t efficient.
